Visit Britain asked WinMark to help them achieve an ambitious goal: to make Great Britain the #1 European tourist destination for U.S. LGBTQ travelers. To meet that challenge we created and ran a successful 3-year multi-channel marketing campaign that highlighted the U.K. as a welcoming and appealing vacation destination for LGBTQ consumers and to showcase the wide range of relevant attractions and activities the country has to offer.
The campaign came to life in print advertising, direct marketing, online advertising, and brochures and other collateral that made a lasting impact on the target market. The results exceeded expectations, generating over $450 million of incremental tourism revenue and increasing Visit Britain’s consumer database by over 500%, providing them with a strategic resource for future LGBTQ engagement and CRM efforts.
